Our Next Audubon Program will be a Fabulous Adventure. Andrew Fisher will take us on a tour of one of the greatest birding locations in the USA—San Diego. PLEASE NOTE that this program is early in the month of November due to limited availability of the venue. Save the Date! Andrew says:
Are you looking for a warm place to visit this winter with great birds, few time zone changes, no passports needed, and no risk of imminent warfare ruining your peaceful birding experience? Look no further south than sunny San Diego. No I don’t work for the Chamber of Commerce, but have spent the past 15 + years working in and around San Diego and Imperial Counties as an avian biologist. My hope is to show you a great birding location you can visit this winter that is easily accessible and affords many of the comforts of home. This presentation will cover some of the top birds that people want to see when visiting San Diego, including regional endemic species, winter migrants, and some fun rarities. I will take you on a virtual tour from the Pacific Coast to the Salton Sea and cover many of the species and locations I have grown to love.
We hope to see all of you there. This program will be so spectacular, that we’ll bring extra cookies!
